A secret spirit of pride or an exalted feeling of yourself in view of your success or position. Taking pride of your good training, appearance or your natural gifts and abilities. Entertain a self-reliant, independent spirit? Pro. 16:18, Pro. 20:6; Rom. 12:3; James 4:6-8.
Proverbs 16:18 Pride goeth before destruction, and an haughty spirit before a fall.
