One day back 11 years ago in Janurary I was told by my best friend that her and her husband were studing with the Jehovah,s witnesses,And for some reason my husband and I wanted to prove that they had the wrong teaching but we never knew why.. we just felt it so we went and got into our bibles which we have never read before . We have had many very late nights that the four of us would get together and they would have alot of other books and all we had was our one bible .So in doing alot of reading and studing and asking questions we finally on the night 3 months later on April 20 ,1989 realized that we needed to ask Jesus to forgive us of our sins.That night we ask Jesus to come into our hearts and from that night on we seen things in a different way .It was so nice to see my husband come to know the Lord the same time I did and it is great to have two married people to be able to teach our kids the same way. We try to do all things the way God would want us to and It has been a blessing Living our new lives for God.We have not had to change alot of our way of living just to make us a christian Jesus did that in forgiving our sins but with God in control we wanted to change some of our wrong doings to make a good witness for him. It has not been always an easy life but God has always been there to pick us up and he will never leave us nor forsake us .Hebrews 13:5 says Let your conversation be with out covetousness,and be content with such things as ye have: for he hath said, I will never leave thee, nor forsake thee.and verse 6 goes with it and says So that we may bodly say The Lord is my helper, and i will not fear what man shall do unto me.I am not sorry i have made the decision to turn from my wrong doing and turning to God for his help nor will I ever be.God is my helper and my strength .Hebrews 13:6. God is so good and never gives up on any one.It has been 11 years past April and i have no regrets ever.
